A few weeks ago I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Madrid, Spain with the University of Regina’s Faculty of Kinesiology and Health Studies to partake in the European Association of Sport Management’s Summer School. I am forever grateful for the opportunity as I was able to meet many amazing people from around the world, learn brand new information about International sport marketing, and tour a beautiful city in one trip. Touring sports stadiums is a favorite outing of mine, and let me tell you these soccer stadiums were amazing! Check out the experience below! Oh, and I think I did well in the class!
Very grateful for the opportunity to attend the European Association of Sports Management Summer School in Madrid a few weeks ago. Meeting and collaborating with peers from across the world to discuss sports marketing and management was a great experience. It was nice to attend lectures provided by professors and teachers from around the world. We were also lucky enough to be given presentations from LaLiga and the Microsoft Global Sports Innovation Center. Besides that, we were also given the chance to visit Wanda Metropolitano, Santiago Bernabéu and to watch the game Real Madrid-Real Betis. I would like to thank Fontys University of Applied Sciences Tilburg, Universidad Europea de Madrid, Real Madrid and EASM for the opportunity and an amazing week.
