Call for Papers: 1st International Conference of the African Sport Management Association

African Sport Management Association (ASMA) was formalized at the African Forum of 17th Biennial Conference of theInternational Society for Comparative Physical Education & Sports (ISCPES) held from the 6th- 8th June, 2010 at Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya by the tenacity of all African Delegates in collaboration with a wide global representation of delegates that attended the conference. The membership of the Association is open to all people irrespective of where they are domiciled. The ASMA Vision is to be a strong African forum with a global Alliance for the promotion of Educational and Professional sportmanagement as well as the management of related disciplines within Africa and beyond. The Mission is to strengthen sports management practices in Africa. In May 2011, ASMA became incorporated in Kenya as a legally registered association. Consequently, the 1st inaugural international conference of ASMA will be held in Uganda.

Conference Registration Fees:

i) ASMA members – USD 200
ii) Non - ASMA Delegates USD 200(Early Bird) and USD 250 (Late Registration)
iii) Students – USD 100(Early Bird) and USD150(Late Registration)

Accomodation:

Single and double rooms will be available from $40- $120 per night at COC accredited hotels.

Note: The Conference Registration fees shall cover Tea/Coffee break for the duration of the Conference, two lunches, an end of conference banquet, all conference internal transportation and conference materials.
